Well folks, I don't know if it's a mixture of the crazy pregnancy brain and my insecurities or if I really am just out of my mind. What have I done now? I signed up for the...
2011 Ogden Half Marathon!!!
The Marathon is not until May but guess what? I'm having a baby at the end of January which means I'll have just over two months to train for this race. Is this something I can do? Sure it is, but I have a feeling it is going to be A LOT harder than Ragnar ever was. Although it is going to be hard, I think it is a goal that I needed to set for myself. I hate the physical changes that pregnancy brings and I do not want to give myself time to get comfortable with my chubby self. I really started to enjoy running when I was doing it, it is such a personal activity and it really did give you a sense of self accomplishment. I told Tyler about my adventure and he is nothing but supportive. It's such an important factor when setting such a hard goal and I appreciate every ounce of it! I'll keep you all posted on my progress, wish me luck!

I wish you all the luck in the world. Just stay fit during your pregnancy and you will bounce right back. I did that with Chenielle and it was awesome. However I did not stay in shape with Victor and I am regretting it. It is much easier to stay in shape then it is to get out of shape and then TRY to get back in shape.
ReplyDeleteI did the SLC marathon a few years ago and loved it. Yes LOVED it. GOOD LUCK, Mama.
