Date night...

Since I moved out of the house Kai and I haven't been able to hang out like we used to, I can't even remember the last time we built a dang fort! Well thanks to the generous company I work for, we had a date night that I knew Kai would love! We were headed to the Jazz game! I knew Kai would love it so when I called to tell him that we had a date, I told him it was a surprise BUT he had to wear his Jazz jersey. He said, "Okay, Okay, gotta go bye!" My mom told me that as soon as he hung up the phone he ran straight to the TV to see if the Jazz game had a home game that night. Sure enough, they did and he figured it all out. Since a friend of mine also had tickets we decided to make a fun date out of it. I took Kai, and she took her son. We headed down to the Gateway for dinner at the Skybox (Not a fan). The kids seemed to enjoy their food though!

After we ate, we headed over to the other side of the building to play in the arcade (Fan). AND as a bonus, it was only $3 for unlimited play so we were able to try every game without running out of money! As you can imagine, it was pretty sweet for two young boys :)

Once we got to the game I think Kai was a little struck with how awesome our seats were. It was a pretty cool exprience for him and it was definitely fun for me to take him. The boys had a lot of fun together, at half time we went out to go to the restroom and get treats where Kai spotted out Thurl Bailey! He said to me, "Shay, do you know who that is?" I turned and looked at him and said, "Do you?" I mean what 8 year old gets excited over seeing Thurl Bailey? THIS SPORTS NUT! As you can tell, Isaiah was more interested in his fresh nachos :)

Such a fun night for me and my little guy, love you Kai!
